Long Beach
Eukanuba World Challenge
Well, I had hoped to add some wonderful shots of Long Beach to the blog – but Saturday and Sunday I was busy inside the Convention Center – and didn’t even get a shot of the Palm trees outside, or the Queen Mary in the harbour. On Monday morning, when I did have a little spare time, it was raining so hard, that I might just as well have stayed at home. Such is the lot of the travel photographer.
It’s a long way to go from Lincolnshire to Los Angeles just for the weekend, but the journey was made easier courtesy of KLM. I flew from my local airport, Humberside, over to Amsterdam, and thence on to LAX. No horrendous queues at Heathrow, and a short check-in time as well.
And the British dog - a Standard Poodle called Donny – made it through to the final of the Eukanuba World Challenge.
