I’m still here!
I’m feeling really guilty as it is nearly a year since I posted anything on my blog. My excuse is that I’ve been busy – but that isn’t a particularly good reason, so hopefully I’ll turn over a new leaf and keep a bit more up-to-date.
For no other reason than that it always makes me smile, here’s a shot I took in the charming lttle town of Pardubice in Eastern Bohemia.
Pardubice is best known as the home of one of Europe’s most gruelling horse races. It’s also famous for the explosive Semtex – and for marzipan.
However there are also some beautiful buildings and interesting little side streets. It’s only a short train ride from Prague, and well worth a visit for the tourist who wants to get away from the crowds in Prague and visit a typical small Czech town.
